Benji Crowe runs a little boutique of all things sweet in an out of the way alley, nice and secluded with a loyal clientele that keep him comfortably afloat and not much in the way of foot traffic. Occasionally someone new will find their way in, either on the advice of a regular or by accident.
When the door slams open one day, Benji thinks that his newest customer must just be really hungry. The man who sprints inside isn’t interested in the pastries, though. He snatches the beanie right off the college student sitting closest to the door before throwing himself into a vacant chair and bundling his distinctive blue coat into a ball that just barely makes it into the trash can. Benji is about to give him a piece of his mind when a dozen teenagers pour through the door shouting about Dane Harper, the latest Hollywood box office favorite.
From that moment, Benji could have been forgiven for thinking he’d fallen headfirst into the latest Hollywood box office feature. Luckily, Dane has enough box office experience for the both of them.

Sweet read!I loved this story about Benji and Dane, the characters and the details setting the scene for a wonderful tale. I have always loved stories about stars meeting someone outside of their world, and this story hit all the sweet spots for me.
It's a shorter read which ended sooner than I'd have liked, and as we meet Dane around halfway through, that left me wanting more. Would love to see a sequel to this one. :)

What happens when baker meets movie star? A wonderful story of love crossing the divide and showing even movie stars have a sweet tooth. Dane and Benji are perfect together in this short sweet filled story.
It's okay could have been much more. It's YA not my thing and we don't really see much of anything. Meaning we get told everything.
New to me author. A contemporary MM abt a baker and a movie star. A short but sweet story. Wish it was looooooonger
Short and sweet, to me this is more like a summary of a longer book. The HEA is kind of implied. And I really hope there's more of these two to come .
This story is a sweet quick read. It ultimately reads like a sweet fairy-tale. While I would have loved for the sister too not be as bitchy at the end, it was the only fault I had with an otherwise sweet and beautiful story
I adore Brooke Edwards. She has such a fantastic way of writing characters that are awesome. Sweet Dreams was a sweet shirt read. Benji is a little stubborn and shy but Dane has no problem working to get what he wants. 5 sweet stars!
